Sioux Center, a community of over 6,300 people has grown 176% in population since 1960. The town is ideally located in Sioux County in northwest Iowa on U.S. Highway 75 and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad’s main line, only 35 miles from I-29 and I-90, midway between Sioux City, Iowa and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Sioux Center’s growth and modernization has been steady through the years. Paved streets, underground electric and telephone, fiber optic cable, well-kept homes, beautiful trees and flowers make Sioux Center a clean and attractive city.
The people of Sioux Center are friendly, charitable, cooperative, community-minded and very productive. Our community is comprised of people who like the better things of life, people who like to live and educate their children in a wholesome Christian environment.
We are proud of our community and welcome you to it. As you visit our community, should you be in need of further information, you are encouraged to contact the Sioux Center Chamber of Commerce:
